Adapting one of Indonesia's most known mythology, the series of images were made with a combination of multiple techniques from collography, screenprinting, and linography. Pieces from this book were featured by The Alchemy in 2023.
Concept
An Indonesian folktale adapted with traditional printmaking, using multiple techniques to achieve a certain texture which speaks more to a traditional feel. Each print were handmade and tested before they were brought together as spreads and binded as a book.
Process
A range of different materials were used in order to achieve certain effects, with collography being the main method which primarily uses cards as the main material, different kinds of tapes and paper and scraps were used to achieve said textures.
